Job Description: The role of the Schools and Community Coach is perfect for someone who has a passion for sport and the ability to develop the next generation. 

At Select Soccer we are passionate about giving everyone an equal opportunity to access sport, both in school and in the community. The successful candidate will be a part of a team of coaches whose sole focus is to Make A Difference to every individual both in a sporting and personal growth.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic School and Community Coach to operate within our school programme and within our community focused football programme. With the post holders primary focus on delivering Primary School Multi Sports to a high standard. They will be required to inspire and install an enthusiasm for sports in school to a range of pupils from reception to year 6, and develop and nurture players in our community sessions from ages 2 years upwards.

The successful post holder must have good knowledge of school sport and delivering football and multi skills in a wide range of settings. We would also desire the candidate to have a number of other sports coaching or teaching qualifications and be computer literate. in addition, the coach must be able to undertake key administrative duties that are associated with the role. 

The successful candidate will be subject to undertaking enhanced DBS checks prior to commencement of work.

Role: Trainee Coach

Salary: Voluntary, with potential paid work further down the line

Job Description: Select Soccer is looking for young individuals who would like to explore the possibility of becoming trained coaches. Through working alongside our senior coaches during sessions, individuals will learn different methods of coaching from our different coaches with varying coaching experience. During your time, you will be giving chances for constructive feedback and opportunities to develop your own coaching style through taking warm ups/specific drills etc when your lead coach feels you are ready. 

For those Trainee Coaches who show promise and an enthusiasm in their coaching, potential paid opportunities may be offered.

Job Description: Select Soccer is looking for several individuals to come and capture our programme on film, through the media of photographs and film. This role is open to anyone who has a passion for photography, in particular sports photography, and may be ideal for any photography students wanting to gain further experience. This is a voluntary role and requires the successful applicant/s to attend our evening Coaching Programmes in Torquay and/or Paignton, with the opportunity to also attend our Holiday Courses.

Job Description: Select Soccer is looking for an individual who has a passion for and an understanding of Social Media. Select is currently represented on the majority of major social media platforms with a good following. This role would be ideal for anyone with a particular interest in social media for businesses, and could potentially suit a student looking for further experience. The role will involve keeping our social media platforms up to date and relevant with what is happening at Select throughout the year.
